Arrests

Flavio Rodriguez, 31 of Oceanside, was arrested on April 15 and charged with burglary and forcible touching. Rodriguez allegedly entered the basement apartment rented from him and touched a 27-year-old female victim inappropriately  

while she was in bed.

Christopher Rosino, 40 of Lynbrook, was arrested on April 3 and charged with Burglary  and Larceny.  According to detectives Rosino, a former tenant of a residence on New Street in Oceanside entered the residence without permission and removed several power tools. 

Elizabeth Neville, 46 of Long Beach, was arrested on April 15 for shoplifting from Kohl's--3600 Long Beach Rd. in Oceanside.

 

Nina Kombert, 52 of Oceanside, was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 

According to police, Kombert's 2010 Jeep was involved in an auto accident when she allowed her 15 year old son to drive with no license or permit.

 

Assault

A person was being driven home when they were attacked by two female co-workers on April 10 on Long Beach Road. The victim suffered a separated shoulder.

 

Burglary

Unknown suspect entered Sole Restaurant, 2752 Oceanside Rd. in Oceanside, through the rear door that had been pried open on April 13.

Criminal Mischief to Property

Unknown suspect damaged the ice cream machine by breaking the glass and 2 light bulbs on Mahlon Brower Drive in Oceanside on April 1.

DWI

Marissa Barr, 35 of Oceanside, was arrested on April 15 and charged with Driving While Intoxicated on Long Beach Road in Oceanside.

 

Graffiti

Victim reports damage to a 2004 Volvo S80 parked on Ralph Avenue in Oceanside by means of spray painting two smiley faces in blue on the trunk.

 

Larceny

Victim's locked 1995 Honda Civic was taken from the front of his residence on Davis Street in Oceanside on April 16.

Money was stolen from a victim's locker at South Shore Fitness, 3465 Lawson Blvd. in Oceanside, on March 30.

Victim states that someone entered his locked locker at South Shore Fitness, 3465 Lawson Blvd. in Oceanside, and removed $20.

Store manager observed an unknown man removing assorted merchandise and cartons of Zyrtec allergy medicine from the shelves of CVS, 3496 Long Beach Rd. in Oceanside, concealing them in his jacket and leaving on April 11.

 

Unknown suspect took unattended bicycle from Cold Cut City Deli, 230 Atlantic Ave. in Oceanside, on April 10. 

An iPod Touch was taken from a gym locker at Oceanside High School, 3160 Skillman Ave. in Oceanside, on April 12.

Victim reports that someone removed the license plates from a 2000 Chevy parked on South Long Beach Road in Oceanside on April 14.

 

Fire

Oceanside Fire Department responded to a fire that started in the wall by the deck and damaged the vinyl siding and the electrical outlet at a home on Greentree Drive in Oceanside on April 9.
