King Kullen in Island Park recalls ground beef due to possible contamination

King Kullen in Island Park has issued a recall for 18 packages of their 80% lean ground beef, fearing they may contain glass or plastic particles. The potentially contaminated meat was sold this past Monday, July 15, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The recall affects only King Kullen’s brand of ground beef, with no other meat products implicated. Customers who purchased the ground beef during the specified time are urged to return it to the store.
