Teachers worked to stake all of the scarecrows that were made by students in their Advisories.

Oceanside Middle School celebrated Halloween in its usual inimitable fashion: students working together and adults getting in on the fun and charity. Every Advisory (of which there are more than 60) worked together to make scarecrows that were displayed in front of the school. Teacher Nancy Morris “rented” costumes from her supply of props to staff to persuade them to wear costumes. With the help of security staff, rental proceeds will be donated to Oceanside Community Service.
