Oceanside Middle School staff shows off volleyball skills

Hundreds of Oceanside Middle School students stayed after school on Jan. 11 to watch their teachers pound a volleyball across a net in the school gym. The teachers and other staff members were recruited by the PTA for a volleyball face-off to raise funds and enhance school spirit. So many staff members wanted to play that teams had to be rotated on and off the court to give everyone a chance. Members of the school’s dance team also performed during a game intermission, while the PTA sold snacks and bottled water outside the gym.
