Students at Oceanside School 2 recently competed in the school’s spelling bee. Pictured here are along the bottom row are, from left, fourth graders Robert Barnett, Justin Ciocoi and Olivia Degen. In the middle row are fifth graders Patrick Moquin, Nora Garrett and Rebecca Richter. And in the top row are sixth graders Melissa Panameno, Samantha and Joseph Mesoraca. Ciocoi was the school’s overall winner, and will go on to represent the school at the district spelling bee, along with fifth grade winner Moquin and sixth grade winner Mesoraca.
