Sesame Street Live’s “Can’t Stop Singing”
The Sesame Street gang visits Nassau Coliseum with a toe tapping, finger snapping musical extravaganza. When Elmo gets his furry fingers on Abby Cadabby’s magic wand, Sesame Street becomes a nonstop, all-singing, all-dancing musical montage.

Jupiter String Quartet
The Jupiter String Quartet returns to Adelphi University’s for a fifth season as Adelphi’s artists-in-residence. This acclaimed ensemble – composed of violinists Nelson Lee and Megan Freivogel, violist Liz Freivogel,and cellist Daniel McDonough – have earned a reputation for their vibrant musicality and passion. Their uplifting and lighthearted program includes Haydn’s String Quartet in E flat Major, Op. 33, No. 2, “The Joke”: Bartó’s String Quartet No. 1 in A Minor, Op. 7; and Brahms’ String Quartet in C Minor, Op. 51, No. 1.

Italian Experience
Greet fall at that delightful area tradition, Hofstra University’s annual Italian Experience. Entertainment includes award-winning recording artist Filippo Voltaggio; traditional folk songs and dances performed by Coro d’Italia, the Long Island Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra, opera highlights with members of The Bronx Opera Company, a kids’ show with Katie’s Puppets, magic with Gary the Great, along with a Poets and Writers Piazza, and tasty treats.
