Long Beach High School student make All-Star math team

For the second year in a row, Cole Blum, a senior at Long Beach High School, has qualified for the Nassau County All-Star Mathematics Team.

Qualification was based on his performance in the Nassau County Interscholastic Mathematics League. He scored among the top 50 of over 1,000 competitors from 60 high schools across the county.

The All-Star Team will represent Nassau County at the New York State Math League, to be held in April in Alban, and the American Regions Math League, to be held in June at Pennsylvania State University.
