A gun was fired near the Long Beach train station Thursday evening, with one man being confirmed as shot.

Shots were fired near the Long Beach train station Thursday evening, with one male confirmed as being shot, according to city officials.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital. Police are currently investigating the situation.
