In a bid to get illegal guns off the street, this Saturday, Jan. 30, between 9 a.m. and noon, the Nassau County DA’s office and county police department, in conjunction with the Village of Rockville Centre and its police department, will hold a gun buyback program at Shiloh Baptist Church, 96 N. Centre Ave. Gun owners who want to surrender their illegal, operable handguns will be able to, anonymously and with no questions asked, and will receive $200.

Services were held at the Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, N.Y. on Jan. 9. He is pictured at the ceremony with his wife, Bernadette Nicchia Greenwald and children Jack, 9, and Delaney, 7.
