Getting married!

Thomas and Florence Scalere of Rockville Centre are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Kristin, to Morgan Shiels Ruthman, son of Rex and Elisabeth Ruthman of Slingerlands, N.Y.

The future bride is a graduate of Kellenberg Memorial High School in 1997, Georgetown University in 2001, and Hofstra University Law School in 2005. She is an attorney currently employed by the Internal Revenue Service in the Office of Chief Counsel in New York City. The future groom is a graduate of the Albany Academy in Albany, N.Y. and Georgetown University. He received his Master’s Degree in International Relations from George Washington University in 2004 and a law degree from Albany Law School in 2009. He successfully passed the bar exam and will be seeking employment in the New York City area. A May 2010 wedding is planned at Martha Clara Vineyards on the east end of Long Island. The couple plans to reside in Lynbrook.

Wedding bells

Gabrielle Stoller and Marc Wasserman were married Nov. 7 at Temple Beth-El in Cedarhurst. The bride is the daughter of Leslie and Stuart Stoller of Valley Stream. She is the granddaughter of Meyer Ginsberg of Sunrise, Fla. and the late Pauline Ginsberg, and is also the granddaughter of the late Renee and Robert Stoller.

The groom is the son of Ronnie and Clifford Wasserman of Rockville Centre. He is the grandson of Connie and Sam Litin and Bunny and Arnold Wasserman, who are also Rockville Centre residents.
