Helping during the holidays
The holidays are special when you do a little something extra for someone in need:
From Dec. 3 - Dec. 31, Coach Realtors, 314 Sunrise Highway, will collect (new) hats, gloves, scarves and crew socks for men, women and children for the benefit of the St. Agnes Parish Outreach. They will have a collection box outside the office on nice days and inside on rainy days. They will also pick up from your home. Call Coach Realtors at (516) 536-8100 for further information.
The Rockville Centre American Legion Post 303 will be collecting for the Toys for Tots program at the American Legion Hall, 197 Maple Ave. on Dec. 5 from 8 a.m. - noon.
From Dec. 4 - Dec. 11 you can drop off coats, scarves, hats, gloves and any other outerwear in collection boxes located in the lobby of the Rockville Centre Recreation Center, 111 N. Long Beach Road. For additional information, call Lily Schoen (516) 780-3833 or Lizzy Handsman at (516) 459-8366.
