Rockville Centre’s Jeffrey Wurst, a senior partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., was named one of Long Island Pulse Magazine’s “2017 Top Ten Legal Eagles” in Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Wurst is the only bankruptcy and commercial finance attorney on the list.

“What distinguishes Jeffrey A. Wurst from others in this area of practice is his ability to handle cases in both the courtroom and the boardroom, as he is highly skilled in transactional as well as litigation matters,” the magazine said about Wurst on its web site.

Ruskin Moscou Faltischek represents large and small lenders, banks and other financial institutions from the New York Metropolitan area.

“Jeff is a seasoned attorney who has a keen ability to handle matters in both the courtroom and the boardroom,” said Adam Silvers, a managing partner at the firm. “We are very pleased to congratulate him on this well-deserved award.”

Wurst is the chair of the firm’s financial services and banking and bankruptcy department and practices in both transactional and litigation matters. He is experienced in commercial finance matters, including traditional bank and non-bank commercial lending and factoring.

He serves on the board of directors for various organizations and is also a member of the American Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the New York State Bar Association. He is a founding member and past president of the Long Island Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association, a past chairperson of the New York Institute of Credit, and a past vice president of the Turnaround Management Association Global.
