Seniors at Sacred Heart Academy gathered with Sister Joanne Forker in a school garden dedicated to SHA alumna Elizabeth (Beth) Logler ’87, from Rockville Centre, a VP of investor relations at E-Speed a division of Cantor Fitzgerald, who perished on September 11.

“We continue to pray for Beth and her family, and all our family and friends who were so violently lost that day,” said Sister Joanne Forker, SHA’s principal. A prayer was offered on Friday afternoon at the school.

The garden, which was dedicated in the fall of 2003 and donated by Beth’s parents Claire and Robert Logler, has become a special place on the school’s grounds.
