St. Agnes celebrates Special People Day

Posted

On April 12, first grade students at St. Agnes Cathedral School celebrated “Special People Day.” Each student had the opportunity to invite someone special in their life to visit their classroom. More than 150 “special people” attended the morning celebration.

During the visit, the special guests were entertained with songs, recitation of poetry, and the opportunity to view students’ work.

A reception for the special guests, hosted by the Home School Association, followed the classroom visits.

Several of the “special grandparents” that were present are also alumni of St. Agnes Cathedral School.

The annual visit is a highlight event for first grade students.
