Andrew Feldman, now a junior at Lawrence Woodmere Academy in Woodmere, took home the top prize at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, also known as the Jimmy Awards, on June 25 at Broadway’s Minskoff Theatre. The Jimmy Awards were named in honor of James M. Nederlander, a theater owner and Broadway producer who died in 2016. more

One of the many causes that we support at Lawrence Woodmere Academy is pediatric cancer. The Helping Hands club, the school’s service learning program, initiated a schoolwide event to collect funds to be donated to Whip Pediatric Cancer that helps to fund research at Sloan Memorial Kettering Cancer Center. more
Behind 25 points from junior guard Tyler St. Furcy and 13 from senior backcourt mate Andrew Buskey, the Lawrence Woodmere Academy Tigers defeated Collegiate 51-44 in the New York State Athletic Independent Schools Class B championship at Fieldston in the Bronx on Feb. 26.
